2) The Court finds the Defendant committed the underlying violation while distracted and the distracted activity was the contributing factor to the commission of the violation. The Court imposes an additional fine of $100. If the Defendant successfully completes a distracted driving safety course within 30 days of the date of this entry the Court will waive the additional $100 fine. The Certificate of Completion shall be provided to the Court within 30 days of this entry. |
