Judgment This Day, January 20, 2026 This matter came on for consideration. It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that This matter comes before the Court for a Pretrial with the Judge. Prosecutor Vajskop appeared on behalf of the State of Ohio and Defendant appeared with Attorney Phillips. The parties were unable to reach a resolution. The matter shall be set for a Jury Trial on March 31, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. and a Final Pretrial with the Judge on March 17, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Based upon a review of the record and that this matter is scheduled for a Jury Trial, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
1. Both parties shall file with the Court any proposed instructions for the Jury on or before the date of the Final Pre-Trial with the Court. Each party shall include specific references to all relevant portions of the Ohio Jury Instructions (OJI) and, if not included in OJI, specific references to relevant case law supporting the requested instruction(s). Additionally, counsel shall provide the Court with electronic media containing the proposed instructions in a format compatible with Microsoft Word. The media shall be delivered to room 208 of Findlay Municipal Court.
2. There will be one (1) Alternate Juror for the Jury trial.
3. All pre-trial motions shall be filed not later than 7 days before the scheduled Jury Trial date.
4. Any party intending to present digital exhibits shall confer with a Judicial Assistant no later than 7 days before the schedule Jury Trial date to verify that the format and medium being presented is compatible and safe to use with the system provided by the Court.
5. The Clerk of Courts shall cause a copy of this Entry to be served upon the parties or their counsel of record.

Judgment This Day, November 10, 2025 This matter came on for consideration. It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that The Court, having stayed the Administrative License Suspension at the request of the Defendant, pursuant to O.R.C. 4511.196 hereby suspends the driver's license of the Defendant while this matter is pending. Based upon the allegations contained in the citation and the Defendant's prior conviction for an OVI offense, the Court finds that the Defendant's continued driving is a threat to public safety. The Defendant is hereby granted limited driving privileges for employment, court and the DIP Program; however, the Defendant shall not consume or possess any alcohol or illegal drugs, and the Defendant may only drive a vehicle after the Defendant has been fitted for a SCRAM Unit to ensure at all times that the Defendant is not consuming any alcohol. The receipt of any SCRAM violations will result in the immediate termination of all driving privileges. The Defendant shall be responsible for all costs associated with the SCRAM Unit and shall make all payments in a timely fashion. Failure to make all payments in a timely fashion will result in the removal of the SCRAM Unit and the immediate termination of all driving privileges. The Defendant shall contact the Probation Department of this Court to be fitted for the SCRAM Unit.
