Judgment This Day, October 16, 2025 This matter came on for consideration. It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that THESE MATTERS CAME BEFORE THE COURT FOR A PRETRIAL WITH THE COURT. PROSECUTOR FINELLI APPEARED ON BEHALF OF THE STATE OF OHIO AND DEFENDANT APPEARED WITH ATTORNEY MAEKASK. THE PARTIES DISCUSSED RESOLUTION TO THESE MATTERS AND WERE UNABLE TO REACH A RESOLUTION. THESE MATTERS SHALL BE SET FOR A JURY TRIAL WITH A FINAL PRETRIAL WITH THE COURT ON 14 DAYS IN ADVANCE. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. BOTH PARTIES SHALL FILE WITH THE COURT PROPOSED INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE JURY ON OR BEFORE THE DATE OF THE FINAL PRETRIAL WITH THE COURT. EACH PARTY SHALL INCLUDE IN OJI SPECIFIC REFERENCES TO RELEVANT CASE LAW SUPPORTING THE REQUESTED INSTRUCTIONS (OJI) AND IF NOT INCLUDED IN OJI SPECIFIC REFERENCES TO RELEVANT CASE LAW SUPPORTING THE REQUESTED INSTRUCTIONS. 2. THERE WILL BE ONE (1) ALTERNATE JUROR FOR THE JURY TRIAL.
3. ALL PRE-TRIAL MOTIONS SHALL BE FILED NO LATER THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE THE SCHEDULED JURY TRIAL DATE.
