Journal This Day, January 06, 2021 This matter came on for consideration. It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that This matter came before the Court the 6th day of January, 2021 for a hearing on a bench warrant served on the defendant. Upon a review of the docket in this case, the Court notes a bench warrant was previously issued and served on the defendant on January 1, 2021. Pursuant to the Court's Temporary Orders to Law Enforcement Regarding the Service of Bench Warrants during the public health emergency, the defendant was not taken into custody. Rather, the arresting officer issued a summons for the defendant to appear on January 6, 2021 at 8:30am. The defendant personally signed the summons indicating he was aware of the date and time for his hearing. The defendant failed to appear.
