Journal This Day, January 13, 2021 This matter came on for consideration. It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that This matter came before the Court the 13th day of January, 2021 for a pre-trial conference with the Court. The State of Ohio was represented by Assistant Law Director, Marshall W. Finelli. The defendant was represented by attorney Paul Maekask. The prosecutor indicated an offer to resolve the case had been extended. Counsel for the defendant advised the defendant was not inclined to accept the offer as it included a recommendation for incarceration in the Hancock County Justice Center. Counsel for the defendant requested additional time to confer with his client. The case is to be scheduled for trial as soon as the docket permits. Speedy trial time is tolled pursuant to R.C. 2945.72(E).
