Journal This Day, December 02, 2020 This matter came on for hearing. It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that This matter came before the Court the 2nd day of December, 2020 for a hearing on a bench warrant. The defendant failed to appear. Upon a review of the docket in this case, the Court notes a bench warrant was previously issued and served on the defendant. Pursuant to the Court's Temporary Orders to Law Enforcement Regarding the Service of Bench Warrants during the public health emergency, the defendant was not taken into custody. Rather, the arresting officer issued a summons to appear on December 2, 2020. The defendant personally signed the summons indicating she was aware of the date and time for his hearing. Consequently, the Court directs a bench warrant be issued for the defendant's arrest. Speedy trial time is tolled pursuant to R.C. 2945.72(D).
IT IS SO ORDERED.
