It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that This matter comes before the Court by way of Probation Officer Griffith. She informs the Court the defendant, Jacob Duran, has been sentenced to the NWCCC SEARCH program by the Hancock County Common Pleas Court, due to a probation violation. He is also being held on a probation violation in this Court. The recommendation from the probation department is for defendant Duran to be released on his pending probation violation in this Court to attend the SEARCH program. The recommendation is well taken. Counsel for the defendant advised the matter would be scheduled for a change of plea hearing, but requested additional time for the defendant to more fully engage in his counseling. The matter is to be scheduled for a change of plea in approximately sixty (60) days. The Court inquired of the defendant regarding his right to a speedy trial and the defendant knowingly waived his right to a speedy as guaranteed by both the Ohio Constitution and the United States Constitution.
