7/9/2018 Journal This Day, July 09, 2018 This matter came on for hearing. It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that This matter came before the Court the 3rd day of July, 2018 for a change of plea hearing. The State of Ohio was present and represented by assistant prosecutor, Marshall Finelli. The defendant was not present but was represented by her attorney, Paul Maekask who requested the matter be continued. Upon a review of the docket in this case, the Court notes the matter was previously continued because the defendant failed to appear for a prior change of plea hearing. In addition, the Court has previously had to issue bench warrants to obtain the defendant's attendance at Court hearings. The Court did not immediately issue a bench warrant, but afforded counsel for the defendant several days to ascertain his client's whereabouts. As a result of the defendant's failure to appear and the Court receiving no additional information, the Court ORDERS that a warrant be issued for the defendant's arrest. The matter is continued until the defendant's apprehension. Speedy trial time is tolled pursuant to R.C. 2945.72(D). IT IS SO ORDERED. MARK C MILLER JUDGE
