Judgment This Day, June 01, 2020 This matter came on for hearing. It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that This matter comes before the court today upon the Court's own motion. The defendant was convicted and sentenced on 6/6/2018. As part of the sentence defendant was ordered to complete 50 hours of community service. The defendant failed to complete those hours within the given time and was cited for Contempt of Court. At a subsequent hearing, the defendant was found to be in Contempt of Court and was given the opportunity to purge the contempt or report to jail to serve 5 days of incarceration. Upon review of the file the defendant has failed to purge the contempt and has also failed to report to the jail as ordered. In lieu of issuing a warrant for the defendant's arrest, the Court directs the matter be scheduled for a hearing to address the defendant's failing to complete the community service or report to jail.
