Judgment This Day, July 12, 2018 This matter came on for hearing. It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that This matter comes on for consideration this 12th day of July, 2018 upon a motion which the Court interprets as a request for reassignment to an alternative location to complete community service and/or a request for additional time to complete community service in order to avoid a jail sentence. Upon a review of the file in this matter the Court notes that the defendant has had three different locations to perform community service. Most recently, the defendant was directed to CHOPIN Hall where he could complete community service in a manner that did not aggravate his alleged back injury. The defendant has not reported to this agency in the six weeks since being assigned to this location. The Court finds there is no reason for assignment to a fourth location. However, the Court is willing to entertain approval of any appropriate location suggested by the defendant. Further, the defendant has failed to provide any documentation warranting an additional extension of time to complete his community service. The defendant has had nine (9) months from the time he was sentenced to complete community service. The Court finds the defendant's motion not well taken and it is hereby OVERRULED.
