Journal This Day, January 25, 2018 This matter came on for hearing. It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that This matter came before the Court on the 24th day of January, 2018 for a pre-trial conference with the Court. The State of Ohio was present and represented by assistant prosecutor, Marshall Finelli. The defendant was represented by attorney Paul Maekask. The defendant has not maintained consistent contact with her attorney and failed to appear for the pre-trial conference. Consequently, the Court and counsel were not able to have a meaningful discussion about the case. The Court notes the defendant has outstanding bench warrants in several unrelated cases. As a result of the defendant's failure to appear the Court orders the issuance of a bench warrant in this case. This matter is continued until the defendant's apprehension on the bench warrant. Speedy trial time is tolled pursuant to R.C. 2945.72(D).
