Judgment This Day, May 16, 2017 This matter came on for hearing. It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that This matter came before the Court this 16th day of May, 2017 for a pre-trial conference. The State of Ohio was present and represented by Assistant Law Director, Robert E. Feighner, the defendant was not present in chambers but was represented by attorney, Paul Maekask. Counsel for the defendant indicated the defendant was being considered for admission into Family Dependency Court through the Hancock County Common Pleas Court Juvenile Division. The parties discussed potential resolutions including a plea to the trespassing charge and dismissal of the obstructing charge. Counsel for the defendant requested additional time in order for the defendant to begin the treatment programs required by the Family Dependency Court. Accordingly, the Court orders the matter be scheduled for a change of plea hearing in approximately sixty (60) days. Speedy trial time is tolled pursuant to R.C. 2945.72(E).
