State of Ohio Case No.:16TRD00034
-Vs-
Defendant: JOHNTASIA FULLER JUDGMENT ENTRY
FINES AND COSTS HEARING
This matter comes before the Court on the issue of the Defendant’s unpaid fines and court costs. The defendant is not currently making regular payments toward his/her unpaid fines and court costs, and has significant amounts of unpaid fines, court costs, and/or restitution.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the defendant shall be scheduled for a FINES AND COURT COSTS HEARING on each and every Monday at 8:00 a.m. starting on the 1ST day of August, 2016, until such time as all fines, court costs, and/or restitution are paid in full. FAILURE TO APPEAR FOR A FINES AND COURT COSTS HEARING CAN RESULT IN SANCTIONS, INCLUDING A WARRANT FOR THE ARREST OF THE DEFENDANT AND SUSPENSION OF ALL DRIVING PRIVILEGES. If the court is closed on a Monday, then the Fines and Court Costs Hearing shall not occur on that Monday and the defendant shall appear for the next Fines and Court Costs Hearing on the following Monday.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the defendant, if not employed and working at the time of each hearing date, shall bring to each hearing the name and address of each place where the defendant has looked for and/or applied for work in the last 7 days and the position(s) for which they applied. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS ORDER REGARDING THE INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS THAT ARE TO BE BROUGHT TO A HEARING BY THE DEFENDANT CAN RESULT IN THE DEFENDANT BEING CITED FOR CONTEMPT FOR FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THE ORDERS OF THIS COURT.
IT IS FUTHER ORDERED that if the Court receives a payment of at least $25.00 by noon of the Friday immediately prior to a Fines and Court Costs Hearing, then that hearing shall be continued one (1) week, to the following Monday at 8:00 a.m., to review whether or not weekly payments continue to be made. The defendant may make payments in advance that cover more than one (1) week’s Fines and Court Costs Hearing. (For example, the defendant may pay $50.00 on a Friday to cover the next two (2) weeks’ hearings.) The defendant shall appear for the Fines and Court Costs Hearing each and every week unless this payment is received by the court as set forth herein.
THE DEFENDANT IS HEREBY ADVISED THAT HE/SHE IS ENTITLED TO BE REPRESENTED BY LEGAL COUNSEL AND SHOULD CONSULT WITH AN ATTORNEY PRIOR TO ANY HEARING IF THE DEFENDANT WISHES TO EXERCISE THE RIGHT TO LEGAL COUNSEL. IF THE DEFENDANT WISHES TO OBTAIN LEGAL COUNSEL AND BELIEVES THAT HE/SHE IS UNABLE TO AFFORD AN ATTORNEY, THEN THE DEFENDANT SHOULD CONTACT THE HANCOCK COUNTY PUBLIC DEFENDER’S OFFICE IN ADVANCE OF ANY HEARING.
The Clerk of Courts shall cause a copy of this Entry to be served upon the Defendant, the Defendant’s attorney of record (if any), and the Probation Department of his Court.
