This matter comes on for consideration of the defendant's failure to appear, having been brought to the attention of the Court by the Clerk of Courts, David Spridgeon. Mr. Spridgeon informed the Court that the defendant's warrant for failing to appear was issued September 24, 2015. This warrant remained unserved until just recently when the Franklin County, Ohio Sheriff's Office found the defendant and arrested him, placing him in their jail facility. A case was opened in Franklin County Municipal Court and assigned case number 17CRB7480. The defendant then posted a surety bond in the Franklin County Municipal Court case and was released from custody. Pursuant to the conditions of the this Court's bench warrant, the defendant was to appear in Findlay Municipal Court on the next regular arraignment date which was April 20, 2017 at 8:30 am. The defendant failed to appear. Therefore, it is the ORDER of this Court that the Clerk of Court's void from the system the warrant that was issued on September 24, 2015 and served by Franklin County authorities. It is further ORDERED that a new bench warrant be issued for the defendant's arrest for his failure to appear in this Court on April 20. 2017.
