Judgment This Day, June 06, 2014 This matter came on for hearing. It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that This matter comes before the Court as a result of the Defendant having been sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the county jail. Pursuant to ORC 1905.35, the Defendant was ordered to report to the Hancock County Jail on May 24, 2014 to serve the term of imprisonment as the City of Findlay is not provided a workhouse or other jail. The Defendant reported to the Hancock County Jail as ordered and was turned away due to "overcrowded conditions." The Court was then provided by the Jail staff with notice of the Defendant having been turned away, and same has been filed with this Court. The Defendant has not yet contacted the Court to reschedule the jail commitment.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that the Defendant shall report to the Hancock County Jail on June 17, 2014 at 9:00 a.m.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Hancock County Sheriff shall accept the Defendant into the jail so that the ordered term of imprisonment can be served or shall comply with O.R.C. 341.12 if the Hancock County Jail is overcrowded.
The Clerk of Courts shall cause a copy of this Entry, together with the Order of Commitment, to be served upon the Hancock County Sheriff.
