Judgment This Day, April 18, 2014 This matter came on for hearing. It is the order, judgment and decree of this court that The Defendant appeared before the court for Review and Sentencing on this case with counsel. The Defendant has not completed the hours as ordered (19 of 150 hours done) and has therefore not purged himself of the contempt. This matter comes before the Court as a result of a Jury Trial having been scheduled for SEPTEMBER 20 2012. Based upon a review of the record and that this matter is scheduled for a Jury Trial, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
Both parties shall, either 30 days before the jury trial or within 10 days of this entry (whichever is later), file with the Court proposed instructions for the Jury. Each party shall include specific references to all relevant portions of the Ohio Jury Instructions (OJI) and, if not included in OJI, specific references to relevant case law supporting the requested instruction(s). Additionally, counsel shall provide the Court with a CD/DVD containing the proposed instructions in a format compatible with Microsoft Word. The CD/DVD shall be delivered to room 208 of Findlay Municipal Court.
If the Court has not been advised by counsel of a resolution of this matter by the time proposed Jury Instructions are due, this matter will be scheduled for a Final Pre-Trial with the Court approximately 10 days before the scheduled Jury Trial date.
All pre-trial motions shall be filed not later than 14 days before the scheduled Jury Trial date.
The Clerk of Courts shall cause a copy of this Entry to be served upon the parties or their counsel of record.
