The Findlay Municipal Court received a letter from the Hancock County Public Defenders office on February 4, 2009 which indicated that you spoke with them regarding representation on your pending case. The letter further informed us that they have a conflict of interest in the case and that other counsel should be appointed. I am writing to inform you that Judge Kevin Smith has reviewed your financial information that was submitted to the Public Defenders office and has authorized the court to appoint an attorney to represent you. However, before an attorney can be appointed to represent you in this matter, you must pay the $25.00 application fee to the Clerk of Court’s office, Room 206 in the Findlay Municipal Building. You must appear for all scheduled court hearings until your attorney tells you otherwise. Failure to appear for a court hearing may result in a warrant being issued for your arrest.
